Here is the latest MUKC and VKR news –
MUKC Beginners Course Graduation! (by Emily, from Facebook)
YOU’VE DONE IT. Through literal blood, sweat, and tears, you’ve made it through the beginners’ course. This event is to celebrate and commemorate this achievement, and what better way to do that than with FREE FOOD!
After training on Wednesday 9th August, we will have a short presentation followed by free pizza and soft drinks in the sports centre to celebrate the occasion. All MUKC members are welcome!
BEGINNERS: If you think you may not be able to attend for some reason (eg. transport difficulties, assignments) PLEASE do your best to sort this out in advance as we really want everyone to attend, for the presentation at the very least. If you only stay for a single slice of pizza and you dash off at 8.40, we’d much prefer that to you not coming at all!
Well done on coming this far and we’ll see you at training! FAITO!
VKC Call for Volunteers
(Mony – this is a general call for volunteers from Dalton. If you can help out, please contact him directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!)
As you all may know, VKC is coming up soon. As the hosting club this year, Monash University Kendo Club are looking for volunteers to help out on both days of VKC.
The roles include, but are not limited to;

- Score keeper
- Score board
- Ribbons people
There will also be a short seminar held at Kenshikan on Friday August 4th from 8:30pm (after monthly VKR keiko). Please note that the time and place may change. If that is to happen I’ll send out an update email.
