Annoucement: MUKEN Camp

Exciting news everyone – the University of Melbourne Kendo Club (aka MUKEN) have announced dates and opened registration for their annual MUKEN Camp. This camp is an intensive weekend of kendo where you will learn many new and important kendo things, as well as an opportunity to meet all the new MUKEN beginners and make friends with other people beginning their kendo journey.

While the camp is not compulsory, it is expected that you attend. Please notify a committee member (either at training, through fb message, or by emailing the club) if you think you will be unable to go. 

WHAT: Kendo training camp for 2017 beginners 
WHO: For all beginners of all university kendo clubs (and the respective committee members) + MUKEN Sensei 
WHEN: Friday May 12th – Sunday May 14th 
WHERE: Ballarat (accommodation will be at Comfort Inn, Sovereign Hill)
COST: $75 (inclusive of both accommodation AND food for the weekend) 
TRANSPORT: TBC, but normally we sort out groups and carpool together.

2. Pay Gen, our treasurer, $75 in CASH after training next week

The first two steps must both be completed, in that order, by WEDNESDAY 26TH APRIL . VERY SOON, SO GET ON IT!

3. Fill out the required Monash Uni Off-Campus Activity Forms (more details on those later, but the current plan is they will be sent by email in early May for you to sign and return to us) 
4. Attend camp!
