Update #1 (03/07/2011) – Added Ka Man’s piece.

Hey guys,
As some of you know, we organised a movie and bowling event last Sunday and it went great! We had almost 30 people turn up, almost double of the number from last year, so thanks to everyone who came! We hope you all enjoyed it and got to know your fellow club members a bit better

I asked a few of the people to write something about the day and I’ve chosen Ka Man’s piece as I think it sums it up nicely from a unique perspective. Thanks Ka Man!
This is the first time I joined the members of Monash University Kendo Club having fun in Chadstone. As we can see, taking part of the club, you’ll enjoy a great time with the kind hearted friends.
That’s the beginning of the day, brightly, shiny day.
This is the movie we planned to watch in 3D version.
The entertained point in this movie is not only it is make in 3D version, but also the story talking about Penda Po’s family and where he came from. Truly, it can make you laugh at the beginning, nervous and cry at the end. Also, it brought us a good time to relax.
There is a large food court and we can take a lunch break or you can bring your own lunch and have a chat with the buddies.
Bowling
Wow~~let go~
In here, I’m just an international student and came to Melbrourne a week ago. Still everyone can make friends with these kindly buddies easily, and will not care about who you are and which dan in Kendo do you have. This situation is totally different from my former Kendo Union, thus joining the Kendo club and have a great time together.
Ka Man
